Security Update: Apple iPhone v2.1
Apple has released security update APPLE-SA-2008-09-12 iPhone v2.1 to announce the release of security enhancements to protect all users against multiple vulnerabilities; the most serious of which may result in arbitrary code execution, unexpected application termination and/or lead to TCP spoofing or session hijacking.

AFFECTED SOFTWARE:
- iPhone v2.0 through v2.0.2
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO TO PROTECT YOUR SYSTEM:
- Updates are only available through iTunes , and will not appear in your computer's Software Update application, or in the Apple Downloads site.
- To check that the iPhone has been updated:
- Navigate to Settings
- Select General
- Select About. The version after applying this update will be "2.1 (5F136)" or later
