Remote Access

The UCSF community has a web interface to access restricted resources remotely known as SSL or  Web VPN. The UCSF Medical Center also provides VPN services for their users. Each system addresses different needs and offers different options.

A VPN account is required to access any of the UCSF VPN services; find out how to get one.

Web VPN - Secure Access

For users who  need to access web based resources or a smaller number of other networked systems (like one file server, or to connect to a desktop using remote control software like Windows Remote desktop or Timbuktu) we recommend our Web VPN system.

The Web VPN system is a web-based proxy which allows you access to resources on the UCSF computing network.

Medical Center VPN Solutions
