Access to iMedRIS |

I have a UCSF ID and I can log into MyAccess:
- Log into MyAccess (https://myaccess.ucsf.edu) and click on the iMedRIS link - (if the iMedRIS link is not visible, call the OAAIS Help Desk (415-514-4100)
I have a UCSF ID but I cannot log into MyAccess:
- Call the OAAIS Help Desk (415-514-4100) and request access to the iMedRIS system

Information for Affiliates |

I am an affiliate of UCSF and I do not have a UCSF ID:
- Contact the PI or Study Coordinator that you work with at UCSF and request access to iMedRIS (you will need a special iMedRIS affiliate status for access)
I am an affiliate of UCSF and I have a UCSF ID:
- If you already have a UCSF ID because you are an affiliate such as a contractor, volunteer, etc., you will need to have affiliate status for iMedRIS added to your current ID. Contact the PI or Study Coordinator that you work with at UCSF and request access to iMedRIS.

I am a PI or Study Coordinator and I need to add someone to studies that does not have a UCSF ID and/or access to iMedRIS:
- Complete the iMedRIS Access Request Form located here
- Submit the form to your department HR Representative or Identify Coordinator (list of Coordinators is here )
- Once the Coordinator creates a UCSF ID for the person, you will be able to add them to your studies within iMedRIS
I am the HR Representative/IID Coordinator for my department or school and I need to provide access to iMedRIS for an affiliate:

Logging into iMedRIS the first time |

Step 1: Activate your MyAccess ID
- To access iMedRIS you must log in through MyAccess. If you have been granted access to iMedRIS (see previous section), you will receive an email from myaccess@ucsf.edu with information on how to activate your MyAccess ID.
- If you already have an active MyAccess ID, you will not receive this email and you can proceed to Step 2.
Step 2: Login to iMedRIS
- After your MyAccess ID has been activated, go to MyAccess at: https://myaccess.ucsf.edu and login. After you login, click on the “CHR/iMedRIS” link
VPN is required if you are connecting to iMedRIS
from off-campus
If off-campus, you must log into the VPN before you access iMedRIS
under MyAccess. To login to VPN go to
https://vpn.ucsf.edu. Use your MyAccess
login and password to login to VPN. If you cannot access the VPN call the OAAIS
Help Desk at 415-514-4100.
