Reporting Steering Group (RSSG)
CHARGE:
-
Provide strategic guidance and functional oversight to the development of reporting for UCSF's administrative systems;
-
Develop functionally oriented guidelines for appropriate use of reporting resources, including making recommendations as to the appropriate roles of various reporting infrastructures, e.g., WebLinks, Data Warehouse, ad hoc reporting engines, operational reporting mechanisms within various application systems, etc.;

Assess reporting needs and make recommendations to ASAC concerning the relative priority of different reporting projects;
-
Provide coordination of efforts in administrative reporting across all campus-wide administrative systems to reduce or eliminate redundancy and assure consistency of product;

Liaise as necessary with ASAC and other ASAC sub-groups to assure that reporting activities are consonant with other administrative systems initiatives; and
-
Coordinate with AISG with respect to the technical aspects of reporting infrastructure.
